Adek Studios Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Flowway mobile application ("Flowway" or "the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the App.

By using Flowway, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Email address — collected via Sign in with Apple or magic-link email sign-in, used for account creation, authentication, and account recovery.
• Name (optional) — provided during onboarding or in Settings, used to personalise your experience (e.g. greeting you on the home screen).
• Mood check-ins (optional) — recorded before/after drives on a 1–5 scale, used to track how you feel across sessions.
• Reflection notes & tags (optional) — written after drives, used to store your thoughts and insights.
• Drive session data — created automatically each time you use the App, including session type, duration, distance, timestamps, and settings like ambient sound and guided prompts. Used to track your drive history, calculate session stats, and let you review past sessions.
• App preferences — set during onboarding or in Settings, including default drive duration, ambient sound, notification preferences, and drive habits. Used to apply your chosen defaults each time you use the App.

We do not require you to provide reflection notes, mood data, or a display name to use the App.

2.2 Information collected automatically

​

• Location (GPS) — collected during active drive sessions, with your permission, to calculate distance traveled. We do not store or transmit your GPS coordinates — only the total distance in meters.
• User ID — generated when you create an account, used to link your data across devices and services.
• Device information — collected through analytics SDKs, used to understand app usage, diagnose issues, and improve performance.
• Product interaction data — screen views and in-app events (e.g. drive started, onboarding completed), collected automatically through analytics SDKs as you use the App, used to understand how features are used and improve the App.
• Subscription status — provided through our subscription provider, used to manage Flowway Pro access and enforce free-tier limits.

2.3 Information we do not collect

Flowway does not currently collect:

• Payment card or bank account details (handled by Apple)
• Contacts, photos, or videos
• Microphone or voice recordings (infrastructure may exist for a potential future feature, but recording is not active in the current version)
• Browsing history outside the App
• HealthKit or Apple Health data
• Precise location history or maps of where you drove

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the App — authenticate you, sync drive history, calculate session distance, and store reflections
• Personalise your experience — greet you by name and remember your preferences
• Manage subscriptions — verify Flowway Pro status and enforce free-tier limits
• Improve the App — analyse feature usage and fix issues through analytics
• Send notifications — deliver optional drive reminders and reflection reminders (only if you grant permission)
• Comply with law — respond to legal requests where required

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

​

We use trusted third-party services to operate Flowway. These providers process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — handles authentication, database, and cloud storage. We share account info, drive sessions, and reflection content. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat — handles subscription and purchase management. We share your User ID, subscription status, and purchase history. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
• PostHog — provides product analytics (EU-hosted). We share your User ID, email (when signed in), screen views, and event metadata such as drive type and duration — not reflection note content. Privacy policy: posthog.com/privacy
• TelemetryDeck — provides privacy-focused analytics. We share anonymised/hashed usage signals and diagnostic data. Privacy policy: telemetrydeck.com/privacy
• Apple — handles Sign in with Apple and App Store subscriptions. We share credentials and payment processing per Apple's terms. Privacy policy: apple.com/privacy

We choose providers with strong security practices. Data may be processed in the EU, US, or other countries where these providers operate.

5. Sign in with Apple

​

If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier and, on first sign-in only, your name and email (or Apple's private relay email). We use this solely to create and manage your Flowway account. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

6. Location data

​

Flowway requests "When In Use" location permission to measure how far you drive during a session. Location is used only while a drive session is active. We compute the total distance traveled and store that number — not your route, coordinates, or location history.

You can deny location permission and still use Flowway; distance tracking will simply be unavailable.

7. Notifications

​

If you enable notifications, we may send:

• Optional daily drive reminders (at a time you choose)
• Reflection reminders after incomplete post-drive reflections

You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings or within the App.

8. Data storage and retention

• On your device: Drive sessions and profile data are stored locally using Apple's on-device storage.
• In the cloud: When signed in, your profile and drive sessions are synced to Supabase so you can access them across devices.
• Retention: We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, drive sessions, and reflection notes from our servers.

Some analytics data may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form after account deletion.

9. Your rights and choices

​

In the App:

• Update your name — Settings → Profile
• Delete local data — Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete all local data
• Delete your account — Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete account (permanently removes your account and cloud data)
• Sign out — Settings → Account → Sign out
• Manage notifications — iOS Settings or App Settings
• Manage location — iOS Settings → Flowway → Location
• Manage subscriptions — iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Legal rights:

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email adekstudiosltd@gmail.com.

• EEA/UK residents: You have rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
• California residents: You have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to delete it. We do not sell personal information.

We will respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

​

Flowway is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

​

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all network communication
• Authentication through Supabase and Sign in with Apple
• Row-level security on our database so users can only access their own data
• No storage of payment card details in the App

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International transfers

​

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

​

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://getflowway.com/privacy and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you through the App or by email.

Continued use of Flowway after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
